A Little Boat Adrift (2015)

Poem by Emily Dickinson

In memory of Tammy Jones

Soprano and Piano

3 minutes

First Performance: February, 11. 2016. T. Earl Hinton Music Hall - Middle Tennessee State University.

Morgan Moné - Soprano, Daniel Bondaczuk - Piano.

Probably, the most heartbreaking situation that could happen to a parent is to lose a child. This song was written with the purpose to be a balm to soothe a little bit of this grief, and bring peace to sorrowful hearts. It is not a song about death as it may seem, but a celebration of thanksgiving for life. A tribute to the memory of Tammy Jones and her family.
